I’m looking for Party Depot. Am I in the right place?
Yes! The owner of Party Depot retired in November of 2025 and Hitch Studio took over at that time! You can expect the same great service and downtown location you came to know and love from Party Depot! I don’t have an eye for design. Will your staff help me?
Certainly! Our design experts will be ready to help you piece together the perfect decor combinations on-the-spot. If that feels overwhelming to you, you can book a private centerpiece showcase, where our stylists design 10-20 centerpieces for you that match your style and vision and you get to sip on a beverage with your “I Do” crew while you soak in the entire experience! Be sure to reserve your private appointment by contacting us for your specific time and date.
Do I need an appointment to look at your showroom?
Customers are absolutely welcome to utilize the showroom at their leisure during any of our normal business hours. If you’re interested in a more one-on-one service experience, however, we do recommend the centerpiece showcase add-on!
How long is your rental period?
Your rental will be ready for pickup two business days before your event. Check our store hours for traditional pick up, or utilize our after-hours pick up and drop off area for a pick up or drop off time outside normal business hours. Returns are due back 1 day following your event or Monday before 4 pm (whichever timeframe comes first).
How does your after-hours drop-off and pick-up area work?
We have a separate entrance for after-hours pick ups and drops offs! You’ll get a custom code to enter that secure area, and we’ll have your order labeled and ready for pick up. We’ll have the same area labeled for after-hours drop offs. We want it to be as easy as possible to work with us and we know you have a lot going on during event weekends!
How do I reserve items for my event?
Click here to start your online quote request and click the hearts to make a wishlist. You can submit a quote request through our website, call us directly, or visit our showroom at 406 Main Avenue in downtown Brookings. Once availability is confirmed, a 50% deposit is required to secure your reservation. We can’t wait to work with you!
How far in advance should I book?
The sooner the better to guarantee availability! We recommend booking 6-12 months in advance for wedding and graduation items, but 2–6 months in advance for smaller events is perfectly fine.
Do you deliver and set up?
Yes! We offer delivery, setup, and teardown services for an additional fee. Self-pickup is also available. See our services for more information and to get a custom quote.
Is there a minimum rental amount?
There is no minimum. We’re here no matter what you need!
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposits are non-refundable. Cancellations made within 5 business days of the event may be subject to additional charges. Please review our full terms and conditions when booking.
What happens if we accidentally damage an item?
You are responsible for all rented items during your rental period. Damaged or missing items will be billed at replacement cost.
Do you offer event styling or planning services?
We sure do! Did you know we are also wedding planners and designers? We have three levels of event styling services:
- A private centerpiece showcase
- We can set up your rental items for you
- We can offer full wedding planning and decorating services on your day!
At what point should I consider upgrading to a Hitch Studio Wedding Planning package?
The best reason to upgrade to an official wedding planning package is that you get one-on-meetings and attention, the set up, take down, table centerpiece rentals, and delivery is ALL ALREADY INCLUDED. You get pampered with gifts throughout your engagement; it's much more “hands-off” for you. You get to let someone else take care of those details for once. Who really wants to take down decor when your dance ends at midnight? WE DO! Let your family have the weekend off.
How do I get access to your high-quality battery-powered candles and large collection of florals and greenery?
Our rental collection does include some greenery and florals and candle shells, but we’d LOVE for you to get access to our premium candles and florals! They are available with most of our Hitch Studio planning packages! Plus, we bring them, set them up, take them down, and return them for you! All with our expert designers giving it our full attention!
